PROJECT PROFILE
C.Y.O Village

| LOCATION: PIARA WATERS
| VIBE: COUNTRY MEETS COMMUNITY
| STATUS: SOLD OUT

The CYO Village, originally constructed in 1998, is a mixed-use facility owned by the direct descendants of CY O’Connor, WA’s most revered engineer and father of the Kalgoorlie pipeline. In 2008 Urban Quarter was engaged to manage an expansion of the existing facility to create further residential accommodation plus a new retail and mixed business precinct.
The development includes residential land, retail, research incubators, tavern/restaurant and a community arts facility. The project has blossomed into a vibrant community lauded by Government agencies for the successful integration of its diverse range of facilities.
Construction of the residential component was supported by a coordinated approach to the delivery of essential services and infrastructure. Environmental quality and energy efficiency were integral to the sustainable development methodology adopted.
A total of 160 residential lots were delivered to market, with final sales completed in 2024.
